A plan to upgrade the cafe on Prince of Wales Pier in Falmouth has |been welcomed by local councillors who hope it will lead to an increase in trade.
Lyn Verran has applied for planning permission to demolish the existing extension to The Pier Cafe and replace it with a new, slightly larger one which will have windows overlooking the water. It is proposed that the new addition to the cafe will provide a larger seating area.
The committee recommended the plans be approved, as long as the outdoor seating area is retained.
