Mylor residents are again being asked for their opinions on a controversial new housing development, almost a year after the first consultation event was held.
The latest meeting, which has been organised by Cornwall Council, will be held in Tremayne Hall tomorrow (Wednesday, January 23) from 6pm.
Its aim is to “share information and listen to public opinion” on the 30 new houses proposed for land off Bells Hill.
Anyone who attends the meeting and wishes to put their views to the Central Sub-Area Planning Committee will be asked to register on arrival before being called on to speak.
A council spokeswoman said: “The public meeting is an opportunity for councillors to hear from local people on all sides of the debate and no decision will be taken on the day. The planning applications will be considered by the Central Sub-Area Planning Committee at a future date.”
Devon and Cornwall Housing Group, who are behind the proposals, first held a public exhibition on the development in February last year.
A further meeting, organised by opponents, the Mylor Conservation Group, was held in May.
Mylor and Flushing Parish Council gave their support to the development plans in November last year.
