Fuel thefts, bicycle thefts and marine crime will be the focus for Falmouth and Helston’s police forces this month.
New sector inspector Steve Lenney has launched an appeal for anyone with any information to get in touch and help tackle the problem.
Additional patrols have been requested to cover boatyards and larger commercial and domestic vans will be stopped as officers target “the type of vehicle being used in this type of crime,” Insp Lenney said.
Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
