Woman pleads not guilty to Truro hospital assaults

A woman charged with assaulting four people in the A&E Department of Truro's Royal Cornwall Hospital on New Year's Eve had her case adjourned for trial.

Sharni Lenton, aged 25, of Trevean Road, Malabar, Truro, pleaded not guilty to the four offences when she came before Truro magistrates.

She will now return to court on April 8.

The alleged victims were Polly Wells, Richard Just, PC Macqueen and PC Mulhern.
