Grant boost for Falmouth support group

A GROUP offering help and support to people recovering from mental illness or major life events has been awarded a grant of £350 by Falmouth Town Council.

Falmouth Recovery Support, based in Killigrew Street, sought financial support from the council to be used towards the cost of setting up and running a ten week Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) group for ten local residents. Two hour sessions will be held once a week.

Councillors unanimously agreed to award the grant with Allyson Biggins saying: “I think this is a really good cause.”
