Sell out success for Helston's Cinderella panto
Helston Theatre Company’s production of Cinderella played to full houses on almost every performance as all but one sold out completely.
With a flying carriage, giant floating bubble and magic tricks galore, the show opened to rave reviews from audience members with more than one saying it was their favourite panto to date, according to Bethany Lyne from the company.
The company chairman Paul Blaber was “ecstatic” with the audience reaction adding: “In times where people have to prioritise where their money goes, it’s great to have such a fantastic support from the community. We are really pleased with the reception Cinderella has had.”
There was further support for the theatre group’s Cinderella as a video on their newly launched YouTube channel hit more than 600 views in less than four days with director Ben Blaber calling it a “brilliant success.”
But there is no rest for the cast members and rehearsals for their next production – Oliver! – began this week.
