Always keen to put their best feet forward, pupils at Landewednack Primary School on The Lizard have been learning football skills.
A special assembly has now been held to congratulate the children who took part in the SupaSoccer football course held last term.
Football coaches Jamie Thompson and Charlie Young presented the children with certificates of recognition for completing the course. Medals were also awarded to Nathan, Dylan and Alin-John for their achievements during the course.
Jamie and Charlie are continuing to work with the children every other week and also hold a Supa Striker football session with the younger children who attend the adjoining Little Lizards Children’s Centre.
Lyndsay Bray, from the school, said: “All of the children who take part in the football sessions thoroughly enjoy working with Jamie and Charlie and have already begun their sessions for the new term.”
