Perranporth Airfield, which is ten miles from Newquay and 11 miles from Truro.
A cliff-top airfield on the north Cornish coast has gone up for sale for £1.49 million.
Perranporth Airfield began life as a World War II Royal Air Force Spitfire base in 1941 and has been home to the Cornish Gliding and Flying Club since 1957.

Now on the market with Savills estate agents, the freehold on the airfield generates an income through an agreement with Perranporth Flying Club Limited.
