Camborne panto group to perform Cinderella

Centenary Drama Group and CD Kids are hoping audience members will have a ball at their production of pantomime Cinderella.

Following their production of Percy in Boots is a return to classic pantomime in the traditional style.

The cast have promised audiences will have “a great time” singing and laughing along to the story, which of course sees the heroes triumph and the villains get there just deserts in the end.

Shows will take place at the Avalon Theatre at Cornwall College in Pool from February 19 to 23.

Centenary Drama has been producing pantomimes in the Camborne area since 1969 and from this tradition CD Kids was formed in 2000.

This is a company of actors under the age of 21, bringing forward a new generation into Cornwall’s strong tradition of musical theatre. Both companies have won many Cornwall Drama Association awards.
