Three injured in Truro barn fire

Three people have been hospitalised following a barn fire near Truro.

The 'Persons Reported' incident saw two appliances from Truro and an appliance from Redruth mobilised to at 10.40 on Sunday night.

Crews found a fire involving a derelict barn, measuring approximately 15 x 20 metres, and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging  camera was used and three casualties were treated at the scene by West Country Ambulance personnel and then taken to hospital.  

Police are treating the fire as arson.
