The police have issued a plea to all cyclists to ensure that they wear bright, reflective clothing especially during the dark winter months.
PCSO Chris Braddon from Falmouth Police Station, which also covers the Helston and The Lizard area, has asked all cyclists to “ensure you can be seen when using the roads. It is not uncommon to see cyclists after dark that display no lights and on occasions wear dark clothing.”
