Salvage tug anchored in bay after wing ship work
10:00am Friday 15th February 2013 in News
The 33-metre Belgian salvage tug Union Diamond is anchored in Falmouth Bay on salvage station.
The 65-ton bollard pull ocean going anchor-handling tug arrived from Mostyn, north Wales, after she towed the cargo vessel Cuidad de Cadiz off a sandbank.
The Airbusonboard ro-ro cargo vessel transports Airbus wings, made at Airbus in Broughton in Flintshire, to Toulouse in France. The ship regularly calls at Falmouth for bunkers.
