Where there's muck there's brass for Helston young farmers
Helston and St Keverne young farmers have braved the cold for a smelly evening of bagging up dung.
The saying that many hands make light work proved true, however, and with 25 members helping there is now plenty of muck ready to sell for the club’s annual charity dung run.
This will take place on Saturday, February 23, with dung sold from Sithney Common Hill lay-by for £2 per bag.
Orders can be made in advanced, with the dung delivered, by contacting Christina Jenkin on 01326 231327.
All proceeds will go to the two charities the club has chosen to support this year: Cornwall Air Ambulance and the Farm Crisis Network.
