Pupil perform pppp-erfect penquin play
THE installation of a new roof prevented the infant pupils at Mabe Primary School from staging their Christmas play in December.
Instead, the youngsters are in action this week performing their play Eddie the Penguin Saves the World. About 50 children from classes one and two, who are aged between four and seven, are taking part in the play which is being performed before parents today (February 13) and tomorrow.
“Our topic this term is ‘going green’ so this fits in perfectly with what they have been doing,” said class two teacher, Jill Key. “It is about a bunch of penguins who go off around the world trying to educate the human beings.”
