A campaign group set up to lobby for improvements in Penzance will take matters into its own hands tomorrow.
A Future for Penzance are holding their Town Clean-Up event from 12pm on Saturday in a bid to tidy up empty shop windows in the town.
They are appealing for volunteers to help lend a hand and meet them outside Cornwall Sports at the top of Market Jew Street at noon.
A spokesperson for the group said: "Bring buckets, brushes and bin liners. Let's reclaim our town and show those who run it that things have to change - This is where it starts!"
