Broken train blocks Falmouth-Truro rail line: UPDATE

Trains are now running normally between Truro and Falmouth Docks following an earlier broken down train at Perranwell.

 

Passengers making the rail journey between Falmouth and Truro face delays, says First Great Western.

The company says that due to a reduced service journey times will be extended by up to an hour due to a broken down train between Truro and Falmouth Docks.

Due to the blocked line all train services running through these stations "may be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 mins at short notice".

The company said: "An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed."
