Five new shops are preparing to open at Carnon Downs Garden Centre this Sunday.
At noon MP Sarah Newton will be officially opening the units, which are to be used by local independent traders. .
Flynn's Flowers is a florist that will offer bouquets, new baby hampers, funeral flowers and even the more unusual Ferrero Rocher bouquets, while Cornish Bird In The Sticks will offer homemade artwork and gifts.
At Sujati Designs original ladies' clothing and accessories created from recycled items will be sold, while Vici Jewellery will be selling handmade jewellery and accessories using gemstones, Swarovski crystals and silver, as well as stained glass mirrors and panels. Repairs and soldering can be carried out and commissions taken.
Finally Julian Power Garden Design is a garden design service designed to complement the range of facilities at the centre. Julian is a garden designer with 20 years of horticultural experience.
