Guests at a James Bond themed party raised a 00 figure for the Lizard Lifeboat Station.
The event that took place at The New Inn at Wendron resulted in £249 being donated, when the proceeds from pre-Christmas raffles and an autumn quiz were added to the total.
The James Bond evening took place as a New Year’s Eve celebration organised by licensee Nigel Tongue.
Guests were invited to attend the party dressed as any James Bond character.
They were then treated to a Bond style five course dinner, followed by games of roulette. A cheque has now been presented to the Lizard Lifeboat's deputy launch authority John Harris.
Lyndsay Bray, from the lifeboat station, said: “Many thanks go to Mr Tongue and all who supported the events at The New Inn in aid of the Lizard Lifeboat.”
