Conditional planning consent has been granted for the change of use of the pump house at Swanvale in Falmouth to four new homes and a site workshop.
Before the homes are brought into use, parking and turning areas need to be provided along with a passing bay and a ”pedestrian refuge”.
Cornwall Council’s head of planning, Phil Mason said: “The development represents a sustainable form of reuse of this redundant commercial building with the urban area of Falmouth. Highway safety can be achieved through minor highway improvements.”
