Hot on the heels of London Fashion Week comes another catwalk demonstration, near Helston this Saturday (March 9).
Wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses and casual wear will all be on show at Carleen Village Hall as outfits are taken off the mannequins and put onto real models.
Ann Pascoe of Manor Fashions, Sithney will be showcasing mother of the bride wear and Ellen Morgan of Lavender Rose Bridal Gowns in Penryn is providing wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses.
There will also be prom and evening dresses from Promises Dress Agency Helston and casual wear from Lily the Pink, also of Helston. The evening, which starts at 7.30pm, is raising money for Riding for the Disabled and Sithney OAP Charity.
Ann said: “A horseshow is usually held to support these charities, but due to problems last year with the field and the weather the show had to be cancelled.
As funds are low we are really hoping that people will support this event.”
Tickets cost £5, which includes a glass of wine and canapés. They are on sale at Absolutely Necessary tea shop and Lily the Pink, both in Helston, or by calling Ann on 01326 561455.
