A Falmouth pensioner facing one charge of gross indecency against a boy under 16 and six charges of indecent assault against boys under 14 had his case adjourned today.

Stuart Ernest Paul, of Theydon Road, was senior ship visitor with the Falmouth Mission To Seafarers and has also played organ for the parish of Penwerris in the past.

The 66-year-old is accused of committing seven sexual offences against underage boys between 1975 and 1991.

The case was adjourned until May 3 for further evidence to be prepared on whether Paul is fit to stand trial.
