Firefighters in West Cornwall had a busy Sunday with calls to chimney fires and a person stuck in a lift.
A crew from St Just were called out just before 8pm to Bank Square after a report of a chimney fire in a cottage.
The firefighters found the fire to be out and used a thermal image camera to ensure there were no hot spots.
Six firefighters were also tasked to deal with a chimney fire at Newbridge at 10.30pm, using a stirrup pump and hearth kit to clear the fire.
A Penzance crew was also sent to Wharfside Shopping Centre on Market Jew Street, Penzance the same evening to help release a person who was stuck in a lift.
