Firefighters were called out to a gorse fire at Ponsongath, St Keverne yesterday evening.
One pumping appliance and the 4x4 vehicle from St Keverne attended just before 8pm and used beaters to extinguish the two hectare gorse fire which had been fanned by strong wind.
