Cornwall Council is holding a public exhibition tomorrow (Wednesday) at the Helston One Stop Shop at Isaac House, Tyacke Road from 12 noon to 7:30pm, so that residents can view proposals and give their feedback on plans for the future of Helston.

Council officers will also be available on the day to take any questions about the "Town Framework", which sets out the proposed future strategy for the growth of Helston.
The event will be help to get the views of local residents on the emerging proposals as the Helston Town Framework goes out to public consultation from Monday, March 11 through to Friday, April 19.
Plans have been developed by Cornwall Council that identify proposed locations for around 900 houses as well as future commercial growth.
The Town Framework will be available on the council’s website from March 11 at www.cornwall.gov.uk/helstontf; copies will also be available to view at Helston Library and One Stop Shop.
This represents an important time in shaping the future of Helston, so feedback on the proposals from local residents, as well offering any other thoughts or ideas, will be very valuable.
This Town Framework consultation runs in parallel with the controversial Cornwall Local Plan, with a consultation on this also running from March 11.
The Cornwall Local Plan will establish the context for future growth and development within the whole of Cornwall over the next 20 years and the Town Framework will help articulate how these strategic policies will be delivered in Helston.il
