A new arts and crafts market with a twist will open in Constantine next month, giving visitors a chance to meet the artists.
The market is run by Constantine Arts Society and will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 10am until 4.30pm in the church hall.
Chair of the society Christine Fletcher said: “There will be some very high quality woodwork, ceramics and board games, a variety of needlework, jewellery and paintings.
“Each stall is going to be manned by the artist or maker and this will be an opportunity for people to come and meet some of the members and find out a bit more about us.”
Constantine Arts Society was founded in 1974 and currently has 69 members but has “never held” an arts and crafts market before according to Christine.
“We would like people to come along and see what else we get up to other than painting,” she said.
