Falmouth cafe booze plan opposed

A new coffee shop and deli’s plans to sell alcohol from its premises in Falmouth are being opposed by town councillors.

Picnic Cornwall Ltd has applied to Cornwall Council for a premises licence in respect of 14 Church Street.

While Falmouth’s planning committee had no problems with the application in the main, councillors did not agree with alcohol being sold for consumption off the premises.
