An early morning smash has forced the boarding up of Porthleven's Boots Pharmacy this week.
A car crashed through the window of the shop in Fore Street at around 2am on Saturday.
Store manager David Smith said the driver suffered cuts and bruises, but no serious injuries.
The crash was reported to the police and scenes of crimes officers visited the shop before giving the go-ahead for workmen to move in later on Saturday to make the building secure.
Although staff were unable to work from the shop during the morning, due to health and safety concerns, patient prescriptions could still be collected so that service was not disrupted.
The pharmacy was closed on Sunday as usual and by Monday morning the business was back up and running as normal.
Mr Smith said: “The window has been boarded up and the inside has been reinstated. We only lost one day's trading.”
