Police are becoming increasingly concerned after a woman with a habit of sleepwalking went missing wearing little other than a nightdress.
There has been no sight of Joy Grigg, aged 50, since she left her Launceston home, at Tregeare, on Wednesday morning.
Joy is described as being a white woman, approximately 5’ 2” in height, medium build with light brown hair.
She is believed to be wearing a nightdress with possibly a light blue coat and black ankle boots.
Police are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and the Cornwall Rescue Group is currently assisting in a search.
If anyone sees Joy or anyone matching her description they are asked to call Police on 101 quoting police reference 0074 130313.
A police spokesman said that Joy is known to have sleepwalked in the past and that this could have been a factor in her disappearance.
Joy has never disappeared in the past and the fact that she still has not been seen is of great concern to police.
