Verbal abuse at Penryn rail station - appeal

British Transport Police officers are appealing for information following an incident which took place at Penryn rail station.
Investigating officer, PC Wayne Frost, said: “At around 10.25pm on Saturday, March 9, a member of rail staff was verbally abused by a group of youths at Penryn rail station.
“The member of staff had simply asked the group, who are believed to have been in drink, to show their tickets when they became abusive and swore at him.
“Clearly, behaviour such as this towards rail staff is unacceptable and won’t be tolerated and enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible.”
He is now looking to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or knows who was responsible.
