A secret mosaic featuring the Falmouth Hotel's logo has been revealed after an old and tired carpet was taken up.

In court this week, an 89-year-old Falmouth man was left in fear after being assaulted in his own home by his son's ex-girlfriend.

A horse or its owner is being sought by Falmouth Police, who suspect equine involvement in a brace of hay and carrot thefts from farms on the outskirts of Penryn and Stithians.

Falmouth School is preparing for its largest and most difficult production to date with 70 students of all ages involved in bringing Annie the musical to life.
