The tales of Gulliver were told by students at Helston Community College last week when they performed a stage version of the popular story.

The production called Gulliver was an adaptation of Jonathan Swift’s story that follows a surgeon on his various travels, visiting different lands and having different adventures.

These were told through acting and dance, by a large cast made of students in year seven through to year 13 in the sixth form.

Audience members followed Gulliver as he stumbled through lands of tiny inhabitants, giants, mad scientists on a cloud and strange superior horse people before he finally finds his weary way home.

The production was produced by drama teacher Steph Richardson, with the help of other staff members.
