Rain postpones Helston cross country races

WATERLOGGED ground has caused the cancellation of the Coose Trannack cross country races in Helston today.

The event had hundreds of children sign up, but the heavy rain has meant that the school field and farm field could not be used as car parks, despite the forecast being OK for today.

Organisers aim to re-arrange the event for Summer term and have apologised for and  inconvenience.
