Hunt out your jiving shoes ahead of Helston’s biggest day of dancing, for a pre Flora Day fundraising fling.
Called ‘Not the Flora Dance,’ the event organised by Helston-Lizard Rotary Club will take place on Saturday, May 4, four days ahead of Flora Day on May 8.
Between 7.30pm and midnight there will be dancing to the band Mid Life Crysis at the Old Cattle Market, with a licensed bar until late.
Tickets cost £5, raising money for the Children’s Hospice South West and Cornwall Air Ambulance.
These can be bought from Dales the Butchers and Wearnes Jewellers, both in Helston, or by calling Edwin Lawrance on 01326 572086 or 07798 690151.
