Four cows and a horse were running free and causing traffic problems close to the Asda roundabout in Penryn yesterday evening.
The police were called out to reports of animals on the loose just after 7pm.

Not one but four cows were reportedly on the hoof alongside their equine friend, which was said to be running away from Asda towards Stithians.

Within the hour the brown horse was apprehended, but the four cows were still on the run - one of which was "running around the car park" at Asda, according to a police spokesman.
All five animals were corralled by 8.50pm and their owner from "a farm on the road to Mabe" came to collect them.
(BELOW) At 8.17pm Packet reader Matt Rattcliff spotted this escaped cow at Penryn RFC's Memorial Ground on Kernick Road.
That was almost two and half hours after the first reports came in of ungulates on the loose around Penryn.
