Falmouth Packet: Hedge set on fire in Penryn Hedge set on fire in Penryn

Firefighters were called out to a garden in Penryn yesterday after a hedge was set on fire.

One appliance from Falmouth attended the fire at Polsethow just before 4.30pm and found approximately five metres of Leylandi on fire.

Crews extinguished the fire using a high pressure hosereel jet. Arson was suspected and Devon and Cornwall Police have been informed.
