A Falmouth pensioner had a lucky escape this weekend after his car left the road, rolled down a bank and smashed into a post office.
Former mace bearer and Penryn town councillor, Barclay Churcher, has died. The 76-year-old stepped down from his ceremonial mace bearing duties in 2007 and was featured in the Packet last year.
