A Falmouth neighbourhood sergeant, famous for organising the successful charity video that parodied last summer's smash hit Gangnam Style, has been suspended.
Sgt Gary Watts faces allegations of gross misconduct and has been temporarily removed from his post while an internal inquiry is carried out.
Further details of the complaint were not released by Devon and Cornwall Police.
The ex-RAF man dreamt up and starred in the "Gangnam Policeman" video (above) earlier this year, to help a young boy from Lancashire who has severe disabilities following an operation on a brain tumour.

Sgt Watts was also known for his public presence on social networking website Twitter, where he garnered more than 10,000 followers.
His account - @SgtGaryWatts - now states that it is 'protected', however, with posts only accessible to 'confirmed followers'.
He was unavailable for comment.
