Helston Football Club will be hosting a live music festival entitled “party on the pitch” on June 29 to raise money for Warchild and the Alzheimer’s Trust.

The event will kick off at midday and run through until 10.30pm. There will be a live stage and an acoustic tent, which later in the evening will become a drum ‘n’ bass tent. All the acts hail from Cornwall and cover a range of musical tastes, including the Cold Roses, the choir from RNAS Culdrose.

Tickets are available from the football club at Kellaway Parc in Clodgey Lane, Christophers Estate Agents in Helston and from Hideaway Cafe in Porthleven. They can also be obtained online through the club’s Facebook page by leaving a message for organisers.

The tickets cost £15, with children under 12 getting in for free if accompanied by an adult. In addition to the music, there will be a beer tent and food stands.
