Pupils from Marlbourgh School in Falmouth had a day of seashore exploration on Sunday.
The pupils and their parents spent the morning wandering aroud the beaches of Falmouth, learning all about the sea and the creatures that live in it.
Organised by the ‘Marlbourgh Mariners’ the children had colourful question sheets, with answers that could only be discovered by getting out and exploring the area.
The schoolkids enjoyed some lunch in the sunshine before splitting into teams for the tug-o-war on Gyllyngvase Beach.
Calling it a “great day out”, the school said a big thanks to all who helped put together such an enjoyable and family orientated event, and a a thank you to all the parents who turned up to join in the fun.
