The new president for 2013/14 is Brian Bishop, who was invested with his presidential jewel and chain not, as is usual, by his predecessor in office, but by John Harrop, President of the Association of Past Rotarians.
Mr Harrop just happened to choose the club’s meeting date at the hotel St Michael’s, Falmouth, for a visit to Falmouth by himself and his wife, Katie.
The club was founded in 1974 by The Rotary Club of Falmouth and membership is open to former members of Rotary Clubs anywhere. Any potential member should telephone the club’s secretary, Frank Lean, on 01326 313170.
