Work to replace the gas main at Mitchell Hill, Truro, has been delayed.
Wales & West Utilities have been asked by Cornwall Highway Authority not to carry out this work at this time because of the construction works still going on at the Tregolls Roundabout site.
The concern was the possible traffic congestion both sites may cause.
The work in Mitchell Hill will be rescheduled for Jan 2014.
