Watersports enthusiasts from all over the country will be donning their wetsuits for the 2013 British Colleges Sport (BCS) Watersports Championships at Stithians Lake.

The national event, which will also be held at Tolcarne Beach, Newquaywill see students battle their way through a series of gruelling heats to qualify for the finals in a range of activities, from surfing, body boarding and surf lifesaving to windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding.

The surfing, body boarding and surf lifesaving competitions will take place at Tolcarne Beach (subject to surf conditions, new location tbc in the event of a change), and the windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding will take place at Stithians Lake tomorrow (Wednesday) from 11am until 3pm.
