Soup and Pudding Lunch - This monthly event takes place on Friday from noon to 2pm. Held on the third Friday of each month, this is becoming a very popular place to meet and catch up with friends old and new. There is a choice of two soups with a roll, and two desserts. If there is any summer weather there will even be a salad option! The cost is £5 per head, to include a cup of tea or coffee.

Dead Interesting Productions present Beneath a Mackerel Sky (an evening of Cornish film) a series of films about West Cornwall produced and presented by local professional film maker Emlyn Glanmôre - Harris on Saturday. This cornucopia of contemporary films about west Cornwall has been aired on the Cornwall Channel of Sky TV, so are of excellent quality. There will be something to captivate and enthral every member of the family whether they have an interest in the local area or not. This entertaining and informative show will help and support Carleen Pantomime group with their 2014 production of Red Riding Hood in February. The doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. Johnny Cowling comes to the hall on Saturday, June 29, bringing his own brand of comedy with him, to raise funds for the Children's Hospice South West (registered charity no. 1003314). Starting at 7.30pm, it costs £10 per head to include a pasty, and there will be a bar. Tickets are available in advance from 01736 763297 or 01326 561008. Tickets will also be available on the door, but a pasty cannot be guaranteed.
