Foodbank gives free lunch packs to children over summer

Camborne, Pool and Redruth Foodbank foodbank is trying to help parents of children who receive free school meals by handing out handy lunch packs this summer.

Vouchers are being given out by schools to parents wand these can be handed in at the foodbank.

"We know how difficult it is for families at the moment for that to happen.

"It is a deprived area and we want to help those families."

A brilliant idea and i always donate when Tesco do their foodbank collection, but i still think its a very sad situation that we have these in operation in 2013 . The Government always aid Foreign oountries with large amounts of money (i am well aware of the difficulties they face too ) but i think they should do more to help this country too. Charity begins at home.
