A 20-year-old Falmouth man was arrested last week on suspicion of rape.
He is alleged to have had non-consensual sex with a teenager from Redruth at a house on Boslowick Road sometime between 9.45 and 10.30 in the morning.
The pair are said to have met on a “social networking website” before she came to Falmouth to meet her alleged attacker.
The man was released on police bail until September pending further enquiries.
