West Cornwall firefighters had two call-outs over the weekend after a car leaked fuel on a Newlyn street and to a gas pipe leak after a St Ives road collision.
Firefighters were called out on Saturday to Chywoone Hill, Newlyn just before 5.45pm to a car that was leaking petrol.
Firefighters sealed the leaking fuel pipe and used granules to absorb the petrol, making the scene safe.
An appliance from St Ives Community Fire Station were called to Back Road West, St Ives at just after 1am on Sunday night after reports of a gas pipe leak caused by a traffic collision.
No persons were trapped and crews made the area safe until the arrival of the gas engineers.
