Jogger airlifted to hospital after being hit by car in Perranporth: UPDATE

UPDATE: The female jogger, who was airlifted to Derriford hospital, does not have life threatening or life changing injuries.
The driver of the Fiat is a 57-year-old woman from Perranporth. She was not injured in the collision.
The road was cleared by 10.30am.
A woman has been airlifted to hospital after being hit by a car in Perranporth this morning (8 August).
The incident happened just after 9am on Budnic Hill, Perranporth and blocked the road.
Police say the woman appears to have been out jogging when she "collided with a blue Fiat Panda".
A Sea King helicopter has airlifted the woman to hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward by calling 101 and quoting 198 of 8 August.
