Snorkeler pulled from water at Prussia Cove dies
3:30pm Friday 9th August 2013 in News
A snorkeler who was pulled from the water at Prussia Cove yesterday has died.
Police have confirmed that the 52-year-old holidaymaker from the London area had been taken to Truro’s Royal Cornwall Hospital by a search and rescue helicopter from RNAS Culdrose, but later died.
It is understood he was found by another holidaymaker in the sea, who pulled him from the water and onto the beach, where attempts were made to resuscitate him.
His next of kin have been informed and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
