Woman suffers spinal injuries while coasteering

A woman has suffered suspected spinal injuries while coasteering at Pentire this morning.
The RNLI, cliff rescue team, lifeguards, paramedics and the rescue helicopter from RNAS Culdrose drafted in to help the woman who injured herself after jumping into the sea while coasteering.
She was taken to shore at Crantock Beach by the Newquay inshore lifeboat and she was airlifted to the Royal Cornwall Hospital.
