The Penryn and Falmouth Foodbank held a food drive at ASDA as part of the ASDA/Trussell Trust national campaign and collected 816kg of food for distribution.
Volunteers from the foodbank, Jane and Ian, were assisted by Bernadette Snow, the store's ‘Community Life Champion’, who said: “Many thanks to all the kind shoppers who made donations. The collection was a real boost to food stocks at the foodbank.”
The Penryn and Falmouth Foodbank has a permanent collection point in the ASDA store at Penryn and donations are always welcomed.
